What makes you #DREAMPROUD? We’re celebrating Pride Month with a special edition of Dream Insider, highlighting all of the best events to celebrate throughout June.
Gay Pride Apparel Pop-Up | Wednesdays & Thursdays in June, 3 – 6 p.m.
Join us every Wednesday and Thursday by the pool at The Beach at Dream Downtown for a pop-up shop with Gay Pride Apparel. Choose from an assortment of totes, tanks, tees, and other summertime accessories to sport throughout the month of June (and every month after!). They even dreamt up a special collection just for us. Part of the proceeds will support LGBTQ organizations.
Zola Bakes Pop-Up | Fridays in June, 3 – 6 p.m.
Satisfy your sweet tooth and support The Trevor Project each time you visit rainbow baker Samantha Zola of Zola Bakes. She’ll be posted up in the lobby each Friday to brighten up your afternoon and sell her famous mini cakes. What better way to make the start of the weekend even sweeter?
Glitter & Glow Up | June 30
Headed to the Pride march at the end of the month? Release your inner drag persona with makeovers by a special makeup artist who will be in the lobby prior to the march for all of the glitter, glam, and color you could possibly imagine. Whether you want to go full drag alter ego or simply paint on a few fun rainbow stripes, get into the spirit before the biggest celebration in the country this year kicks off.
LA PRIDE | June 8 – 9
Known for being one of the biggest Pride events across the nation, this three-day celebration draws in more than 400,000 people to the West Hollywood neighborhood. This vibrant, inclusive festival is one of the biggest parties of the year for the city, which means it’s a can’t-miss weekend. There’s something for everyone—from silent discos to comedy shows to dances to the iconic parade. For more information, visit their website.
DREAM SOUTH BEACH
Wynwood Pride | June 21 – 23
Located in the heart of the artistic Wynwood district, this inaugural music festival will feature DJs, artists, and drag queens of all types.
