Taking a photo of your food is a requirement in 2016 so we’ve rounded up the most photogenic food in the city that will make your friends, family, and the rest of the internet jealous.
Check it out below and don’t forget to tag us in your foodie adventures!
What: Rainbow Bagel
Where: The Bagel Store
754 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn
You’ve seen it on Instagram and in your Facebook feed but have you made the trek out to Williamsburg to take a bite of the worlds most beautiful bagel? We have. It’s like the older, more sophisticated sister to a cheese croissant. It’s just like you’d imagine it to be, sweet and cake-like with a bit of a salty undertone.
Top Tip: Get the rainbow bagel with peanut butter instead of funfetti cream cheese.
What: Instagram Milkshake
Where: Black Tap
529 Broome St, New York
It’s become a phenomenon. The already long wait at Black Tap has become almost unbearable as people flock to taste one of their magical milkshake creations. Luckily, we had gone a few months back when these giant shakes were known by few. We tried cotton candy, sweet & salty, and cookie, and we’ve been dreaming about them ever since.
Top Tip: They melt REALLY fast so prepare your shots before it comes out.
What: Hot Chocolate
Where: City Bakery
3 W 18th St, New York
I don’t even think we need to explain why this extra chocolaty concoction needs to be consumed ASAP. Opt in for the marshmallow for an extra sugar rush and the most Instagram-worthy drink.
Where: Wisefish Poke
263 West 19th Street
It’s time to get in the Hawaiian mood and add some poke to your Instagram. The Chipotle of poke has arrived in NYC and we can’t recommend it enough. Choose your base, toppings, and finish it off with delicious poke.
What: Full Menu
Where: Two Hands
164 Mott St, New York
If restaurants could get awards for having the most pretty, Instagrammable menu, Two Hands would win..hands down. Their acai bowl is on point, their avocado toast is flawless, their salads and breads are straight up beautiful. We’re swooning just looking at photos of their food.
Where: Doughnut Plant
220 W 23rd St, New York
If there’s one thing we love as much as ice cream it’s doughnuts. Yes, we’re big Dough fans but Doughnut Plant has our Instagram hearts. Run, don’t walk, to Doughnut Plant and get your fix.
What: Shaved Snow
Where: Wooly’s Shaved Snow
700 8th Ave, New York
Switch up your usual ice cream run by stopping at City Kitchen for some Wooly’s Shaved Snow. This milky dessert looks like shaved ice but tastes like fluffy ice cream. We highly recommend the melon flavor if it’s available, it tastes like a watermelon Jolly Rancher.
